Terms & Conditions

1. Introduction

These Terms and Conditions govern the use of the Maximum Dosage website and the booking of tattoo appointments. By accessing or using the website or booking an appointment, you agree to be bound by these terms. If you disagree with any part of these terms, you may not use the website or book an appointment.

2. Age Restrictions

Under the Tattooing of Minors Act 1969, tattooing individuals under the age of 18 is illegal. Parental consent is not accepted. Maximum Dosage is an adults-only environment. Children and babies are not permitted in the studio.

3. Health and Safety

You must complete a consent form disclosing health conditions and medications. Certain medical conditions may preclude tattooing. Client health records are handled confidentially and securely in accordance with GDPR guidelines. Tattooing is prohibited if your skin exhibits signs of inflammation, damage, or infection, such as sunburn, eczema, or open wounds. Existing skin conditions may worsen due to tattooing. Tattooing is not permitted during pregnancy or breastfeeding. Maintain a 2-week gap between your tattoo and vaccinations, including COVID-19 and flu. Allow at least 4 weeks between your tattoo and minor cosmetic procedures such as fillers, Botox, microblading, dentistry, or minor injuries. Consult with your doctor regarding any concerns about medications, medical treatments, or other health conditions.

4. Design and Consultation

We do not copy existing tattoos or artwork without the original artist's permission. Tattoo designs will be created in the artist's style. Review artist portfolios and reviews on Instagram and Google to familiarize yourself with their style. Minor design adjustments can be made on the day of your appointment. Avoid consulting with others during your appointment.

5. Studio Policies

Inform us in advance if you plan to use numbing cream. Offensive or culturally inappropriate tattoos will not be performed. A £50 deposit is required for each tattoo appointment. Deposits are non-refundable. A 10-day notice is required for appointment rescheduling to avoid losing your deposit. Significant design changes should be communicated well in advance. Do not attend your appointment if you are unwell. Reschedule appointments due to illness within 30 days. Bring photo ID with you on the day of your appointment. Arrive at your scheduled appointment time. Maintain a safe distance within the studio and avoid touching sterile areas. Hand sanitizer is provided for use upon entry. Facemasks are optional. Do not bring unnecessary bags or luggage. Avoid alcohol and energy drinks 24 hours before your appointment. Bring snacks and drinks, especially for longer appointments. Guests are not permitted in the studio unless prior arrangements are made. Inform friends and family in advance that they cannot accompany you to the appointment. Inform us if you have any anxiety concerns or require special accommodations. Do not bring any illegal substances to the studio. Follow the provided aftercare instructions carefully. Cash and bank transfers are preferred payment methods. Maximum Dosage reserves the right to refuse service for any reason.
